About SeaFury
Built From Experience
SeaFury didn't begin with a business plan.
It grew from the way we live.
For almost 30 years, our family has called South Florida home. In the middle of our journey we spent several years in Huntington Beach, California, before returning to Florida, now living on the Space Coast. Different coastlines, the same way of life.
The ocean has always been there. Our children grew up spending countless hours bodyboarding, boating, fishing and simply enjoying the outdoors. It has never been somewhere we escaped to; it is just part of who we are.
Aviation has followed the same path.
Flying has been part of my life for more than 35 years. Along the way I built two airplanes, including completing and test-flying one in Chino, California. My daughter has since earned her pilot's license, continuing a passion that has become part of our family.
Over the years we have come to appreciate that flying and life on the water have more in common than most people realize. Both demand preparation, awareness and respect for the conditions. Neither reward shortcuts and both have a way of teaching humility while quietly building confidence.
That is the inspiration behind SeaFury.

This picture marks the moment our brand idea was created... although a much smaller concept, with many iterations of our logo before we landed (pun intended) on this one.
Let's set the scene:
May 2016.
Planes of Fame Airshow.
Chino, California.
A crisp 75°F.
A radial engine.
Aqua blue paint.
One plane.
One family.
On the tarmac.
The Hawker Sea Fury was the perfect muse.
Created in the United Kingdom during WWII as a mark of power, speed, and naval durability, the Sea Fury concept was born from its predecessors the Hawker Tempest and Hawker Typhoon.
While it never saw action with the Royal Air Force or Royal Navy, it went on to serve other militaries for many years.
This aircraft is the perfect example of sheer strength and adaptability... the way land meets sea.
